Iced latte

A timeless classic and a favourite for hot days, iced latte is as simple as it is satisfying. Made by pouring espresso over cold milk and plenty of ice cubes, this refreshing drink can easily be adapted with non-dairy options like almond or soy milk. Try it with oat milk for a creamy, smooth finish. You’ll find it incredibly thirst-quenching!
Iced vanilla honey latte
- Fill a tall glass with ice and add your choice of milk until the glass is half full.
- Mix in 30ml (1 shot) of vanilla syrup and 1 tsp of honey (around 8-10g). If you prefer it sweeter, simply add more honey.
- Pull a double shot of espresso (60ml) and pour it over the milk and ice. Stir vigorously to combine.
Cold brew

Cold brew is quickly gaining popularity in Australia, though it has been in many countries for years. Cold brew is coffee steeped in cold water, not brewed hot. The unique brewing method relies on time rather than heat or pressure to extract flavours from coffee grounds, resulting in a smooth, naturally sweeter and delightfully juicy drink. How should you enjoy cold brew? The possibilities are endless! Serve it black over ice for a pure coffee experience, add a splash of your favourite milk for a creamy touch or use it as a base for inventive cocktails and mocktails.
A STANDOUT FAVOURITE IS A COLD BREW SPRITZ
- Fill your glass with ice and add a wedge of orange, dried or fresh. Blood oranges work beautifully if they are available.
- Pour cold brew until the glass is 3/4 full.
- Top with tonic water for a sparkling, summery mocktail.
- For an alcoholic twist, gin complements the drink’s floral notes, while vodka offers a more neutral addition. You’ll find not only is this spritz great for entertaining, but it also becomes a family favourite.
Machine tips and tricks
Freshness first! Always use freshly roasted coffee beans for the best flavour and aroma.
Check the roast date on packaging. Beans peak within two months of roasting, then quality starts to decline.
Only fill the bean hopper as needed to preserve the coffee beans’ freshness. Exposure to light, heat and oxygen can cause beans to lose flavour over time.
Store coffee beans well in a vacuum – sealed container for optimal freshness. An airtight container will also suffice.
Avoid storing beans in the fridge, as they absorb odours and flavours from other foods due to their porous nature.
Milk matters, so if you prefer plant based milk, look for varieties labelled ‘Barista’. These are formulated for better texture and consistency, giving you creamier, more professional results.
Experiment with different recipes on your machine to find your favourite.
Once you discover your go-to beverage, customise it to suit your taste. Adjust the size and strength by selecting the options below the drink picture on the machine’s display.
Care for your brewing unit. It’s the heart of your machine, handling the hard work of brewing your daily coffee.
To keep it in top condition, rinse the removable brewing unit under running water every two weeks.
Avoid using soap or placing it in the dishwasher – plain tap water is all you need to clean it effectively.
