Ingredients

  • 100 g 100 bacon

  • Dollop of butter or drizzle of olive oil

  • 1 1 tub of Bacci’s Cream & Fresh Mushroom Sauce

  • 1 packet 1 Bacci’s Potato Gnocchi

  • Parmesan (optional)

Method

  • Bring pot of salted water, approximately 4L, to the boil.
  • Meanwhile, finely dice 100g of bacon and place into hot pan with dollop of butter or drizzle of olive oil, on low heat.
  • Brown the bacon then empty contents of tub of Bacci’s Cream & Fresh Mushroom Sauce in with bacon, simmering on low heat.
  • Plunge Bacci’s Gnocchi into pot of boiling water, giving a stir so they don’t stick to the bottom of pot.
  • As gnocchi rise to top of water, scoop out with slotted spoon and drop into simmering sauce.
  • Serve, topped with parmesan or similar hard cheese to enhance the taste.
