Bacci’s Gnocchi Boscaiola

100 g 100 bacon
Dollop of butter or drizzle of olive oil
1 1 tub of Bacci’s Cream & Fresh Mushroom Sauce
1 packet 1 Bacci’s Potato Gnocchi
Parmesan (optional)
Method
- Bring pot of salted water, approximately 4L, to the boil.
- Meanwhile, finely dice 100g of bacon and place into hot pan with dollop of butter or drizzle of olive oil, on low heat.
- Brown the bacon then empty contents of tub of Bacci’s Cream & Fresh Mushroom Sauce in with bacon, simmering on low heat.
- Plunge Bacci’s Gnocchi into pot of boiling water, giving a stir so they don’t stick to the bottom of pot.
- As gnocchi rise to top of water, scoop out with slotted spoon and drop into simmering sauce.
- Serve, topped with parmesan or similar hard cheese to enhance the taste.
