1/4 1/4 quantity frozen Big batch bolognese, thawed overnight in the fridge (3-cup portion)
1/4 cup 1/4 basil leaves, plus extra to garnish
1 Tbsp 1 dried oregano
Sea salt flakes and freshly ground black pepper, to season
400 g 400 dried spaghetti
Shaved parmesan, to serve
Method
- Put defrosted bolognese into a large saucepan. Add 125ml water, basil leaves and dried oregano and stir to combine. Set over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes or until hot. Season.
- Meanwhile, cook spaghetti in a large saucepan of boiling salted water, following packet directions, until al dente. Drain well, then add to the bolognese sauce. Use a pair of tongs to toss together, coating the spaghetti in the sauce.
- Serve topped with parmesan and garnished with extra basil.
