Fall in love with Macadamias!

By Market Magazine

Welcome to Brookfarm, a leading gourmet food producer using the goodness of macadamia nuts.

In 1989, Pam and Martin Brook, a dentist and a film producer in Melbourne, purchased a run-down dairy farm in the Byron Bay hinterland and set out to transform it into a regenerative macadamia farm.

Over the last 30 years, they’ve restored remnants of the Big Scrub rainforest by planting 45,000 native trees on the farm and installing 14 wildlife boxes to enhance native biodiversity.

Today, Brookfarm is known for its award-winning premium range of macadamia muesli, granola, porridge, premium nuts mixes and wholefood bars, still baked in the farm’s Byron Bay bakehouse. And it’s all made with premium Aussie macadamias and natural ingredients, locally sourced to support Australian farmers.

Brookfarm is now led by Pam and Martin’s eldest son Will as CEO. Meanwhile, Pam – who has led innovation in the family kitchen for over 20 years – has handed the culinary reins over to Jess Brook. And Martin now concentrates on regenerative agriculture in the Northern Rivers region with new farming methods, pest management, rainforest and wildlife restoration. All nuts are sustainably sourced with Brookfarm’s leading regenerative agriculture techniques for macadamia farmers in Australia.
