Ingredients

  • 2 2 yellowfin tuna steaks

  • 1/4 1/4 cup salt-reduced soy sauce 1⁄4 cup honey

  • 2 2 peeled garlic cloves

  • 1/2 1/2 tsp ginger powder

  • 1 Tbsp 1 olive oil

  • 1/2 1/2 cup sushi rice

  • TO SERVE
  • 1 1 bunch Chinese broccoli

  • Sesame seeds, optional

  • 1 sprig 1 spring onion, sliced, optional

Method

  • Remove tuna from fridge, mix all marinade ingredients and pour half of marinade over tuna, then marinate for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, chop Chinese broccoli roughly and steam until just tender. Remove from heat.
  • Preheat air fryer at 190°C for 5 minutes. Transfer marinated steaks into basket and air fry for 4-5 minutes for medium rare. Rest for 2 minutes before serving.
  • Prepare rice according to packet instructions. Divide rice and steamed greens between two plates. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced spring onion, if using, add steaks and drizzle with leftover marinade.
