GRANDCHESTER, QUEENSLAND
Begin with Grandchester, a charming and tranquil rural town in Queensland with picturesque undulating hills, expansive farmlands and scenic views, plus truly lovely places to stay. It might not be the first place that comes to mind for a musical tour, but its inclusion highlights Hayllar’s unique approach to combining music with unforgettable charm, and captivating local culture and history.
For the The Art of the Piano Trio, what a place. Three of Australia’s finest instrumentalists show us how the greatest musical creators have used the piano trio for some of their most powerful compositions. Or The Art of the String Quartet might be your choice, where the combination of two violins, viola and cello has inspired the greatest musical minds to create some of their finest works, giving you pure listening pleasure. Margaret River, an iconic region celebrated for its premium wines, surf coast and natural beauty, is a fitting inclusion in Hayllar’s Music Tours for you.
At Music in the Margaret River you’re among the area’s pristine beaches, lush forests, rolling vineyards and wineries, creating a stunning setting for your musical events. Here you’ll experience eight concerts over five days of superb music, food and wine in one of Australia’s most popular destinations.
