The Retreat has also recently added a high-quality Italian restaurant, Osteria La Vallata, which is loosely translated as‘ Rustic Charm in the Valley’. Chef Marco Salvestrin, a 16-year veteran, heads up the new restaurant. And consulting with Marco was Chef Laurent Cambon, a 27-year veteran of Sydney’s famous Machiavelli restaurant.
The new restaurant is open from Thursday to Sunday, with an extensive antipasto table allowing for casual dining to support the full-service menu.
Along with the new restaurant, a further eight superior deluxe villas have been released and now offer high-quality accommodation in the fully self-contained two-and three-bedroom layouts. The views are stunning and, in addition to looking over the second and third fairways and greens, they also boast extensive views down into the valley and up to the imposing escarpment.
