
SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN

500 g 500 chicken thigh fillets, sliced
1 Tbsp 1 cornflour
1 1 egg, lightly beaten
3 Tbsp 3 peanut oil
1 1 red capsicum, chopped
1 1 green capsicum, chopped
1 1 onion, cut into wedges
2 tsp 2 fresh ginger, grated
2 cloves 2 garlic, crushed
210 ml 210 bottle AYAM™ Sweet and Sour Sauce
1 Tbsp 1 AYAM™ Light Soy Sauce
225 g 225 can pineapple pieces in juice
Method
- Combine chicken and cornflour in bowl, add egg, and stir until combined. Heat 1 Tbsp oil in wok or frying pan. Add half the chicken and stir-fry until cooked through, then remove. Repeat with 1 Tbsp oil and remaining chicken.
- Heat remaining oil, add capsicum, onion, ginger and garlic and stir-fry over high heat for 1 minute or until almost tender.
- Add sweet and sour sauce, soy sauce, undrained pineapple and chicken and stir-fry for 1 minute or until hot. Serving suggestion: Serve with AYAM™ Instant Noodles.
