Make a Little Kiwi Jam
Ingredients
1 kg 1 ripe kiwifruit, peeled and chopped
500 g 500 sugar
Juice of 2 lemons
Method
- In large saucepan combine chopped kiwifruit, sugar and lemon juice.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until sugar dissolves.
- Once sugar has dissolved, increase heat to medium-high and bring mixture to boil.
- Reduce heat and let simmer, stirring occasionally, until jam thickens (about 30 minutes).
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Transfer jam into sterilised jars and seal tightly. Refrigerate once cooled.
